A plastic chair, seemingly mundane, is actually a product of complex processes. It requires transforming natural gas into solid materials, followed by mass production in factories - a triumph of chemistry and engineering. This example illustrates how knowledge can reveal the hidden beauty in everyday objects.

The following projects, group work, and personal assignments explore intriguing objects, phenomena, and social events from daily life. Through in-depth investigation, I aim to uncover their significance and demonstrate how knowledge can transform our perception of the world around us.
Project reveals the Fulbright community's hidden plastic footprint.
I'll collect and analyze Fulbright's plastic waste to understand user usage patterns.
Then, I'll create a walkthrough installation that invites our community to witness our collective impact firsthand, as we literally "Stand in Our Own Waste."
Here's a **one-day demo of the project.**

I learn a great deal each week in each course, and sharing everything here could be overwhelming. Instead, I'll choose to show here on an interesting project or group work that applies course knowledge to explain real-world situations.
My independent study focuses on addressing the challenges of learning in the digital age, particularly for first-year Fulbright students, while avoiding the pitfalls of techno-solutionism. I emphasize the importance of understanding local context and needs, drawing insights from historical and Eastern perspectives on learning. My approach culminates in developing a video course on learning science and note-taking strategies, prioritizing human factors and cognitive principles over technological solutions.

Social Media's Effect on Teen Identity
We explored adolescent brain, body, and identity development, then we exam Social media's impact on self-identity. Our finding help us developed an interactive board game that encourages players to reflect on their online presence and social media impact on their self-image and daily lives.
My life in a nutshell
This project combines self-reflection and aging research. I analyze my life using Erikson's developmental stages and explore gerotranscendence, a positive view of aging. By understanding my past and preparing for the future, I aim to make better choices now for a fulfilling later life.
